The Lakeside Choral Scholar program is a scholarship designed for High School and College students interested in church music. The program runs from the Fall through late Spring. After submitting an application and successfully completing an audition in August, young musicians will rehearse and perform with the Chancel Choir of Lakeside Presbyterian Church. Choral Scholars are expected to attend rehearsals, services, and performances. They will be seen as models within each section, demonstrating excellent singing skills, professional rehearsal and performance behavior, and active participation. The Scholars are expected to have their music learned, which may take additional personal preparation outside of regularly scheduled choir rehearsals. Choral Scholars report directly to the Director of Music..

Deadline for applications for the 2017-18 academic year is August 15, 2017.
